What You’ll be Doing
- Manage operator and Property Manager relationships, ensuring lease compliance and operational standards.
- Monitor performance across rent collection, voids, arrears, and property condition.
- Support lease transactions including lettings, renewals, rent reviews, and surrenders.
- Liaise with Local Authorities on commissioning, nominations, and exempt accommodation.
- Review monthly KPI reports and oversee asset operations (lettings, rents, tenant engagement).
- Conduct financial analysis (lease modelling, capex, portfolio performance, stress testing).
- Support business planning, budgeting, and financial modelling.
- Prepare lender and investor reporting, including covenant monitoring.
- Undertake site inspections and support delivery of refurbishment works.
- Track capex spend and ensure accurate performance data reporting.
- Contribute to reporting improvements, systems, and processes.
Essential
- Proven experience in UK residential asset management, ideally including PRS and Supported Living portfolios.
- Strong understanding of Local Authority commissioning and exempt accommodation frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience overseeing Property Managers and operators, including KPI‑driven performance management.
- Advanced financial modelling capability (Excel essential), including lease cashflows, capex feasibility, and portfolio analysis.
- Strong knowledge of residential statutory compliance (gas, fire, electrical, EPCs, HMO licensing).
- Experience producing high‑quality reporting and analysis, ideally including lender/investor reporting.
