Role Overview

As an HR Admin, you will be at the heart of our people operations, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes that support our staff and organisational goals. This role is pivotal to The Hyde Group’s continued success and growth, offering you the opportunity to develop your career in a friendly and values-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining employee records and databases accurately and confidentially.
  • Assist with recruitment processes such as job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Support onboarding activities to ensure new starters have a positive experience and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Manage HR correspondence and respond to routine employee enquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by collecting and inputting relevant data.
  • Help organise employee welfare initiatives and internal communications.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation.
  • Support HR reporting activities and prepare HR documentation as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within HR or a related function, ideally in the Charity & Voluntary sector.
  • Good understanding of HR practices and employment law basics.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with HR information systems.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Team player who can also work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
